There's an intense passion in Dana's songs, in both the
lyric and in the performance. Evocative poetic songs of
romance and the emotion of living a life rich with emotion
fill Dana's folk-rock repertoire. Maura O'Connell, Susan
Werner and Christine Albert have all recorded his songs.
He toured for several years with Shake Russell which
yielded 5 albums, and has recorded 5 solo albums as well,
every one of them receiving critical acclaim. Dana has
also played on Austin City Limits and has received awards
and nominations as Male Vocalist of the Year and for Best
Pop Album of the Year. We agree with The Acoustic Guitar
Magazine: "His heartfelt lyrics aim to reconcile the heart
and mind in everyday life. His sense of melody is unique
and he has a voice that could melt ice caps."
