A sparse, unhurried grace illuminates Jeff's evocative
piano ballads of restlessness, regret and bittersweet
reminiscence. His big voice and guitar, like granite
and silk, encounter a ferocity of brawny passion on
tender love songs in a complex emotional territory of
melodrama and hope, faith and truth. Jeff's rootsy
style recalls Tom Waits, Neil Young and Bruce
Springsteen. Among those who discovered and recorded
