Legendary performer and songwriter in the house tonight!


November 18 Geoff Muldaur ($12) 8 PM

There's a bit of front-porch, back-woods feel to Geoff's
performances. It's an easy and relaxed atmosphere he
creates for listening to his smooth and natural 'polished
wood' tenor, framed with dexterous guitar and piano
playing. Add in some playful banjo styling for variety.
Geoff's musical tastes include old-time jazz and blues
standards, rhythmic originals and Irish/cowboy tunes.
Since his professional start in the 60's, he's won an
Emmy for film scores, recorded 21 albums (9 solo, 2 with
wife Maria, 2 with Paul Butterfield, 6 with Kweskin Jug
Band and 2 with Amos Garrett) plus 8 compilations.
Geoff's songs are recorded by Bob Dylan, Bonnie Raitt,
Jerry Garcia, Richard Thompson, Maria Muldaur, Louden
Wainwright III, John Sebastian and scores of others.
