BRATTLEBORO, VT, October 4 - Last weekend, I had family for company.
The records we played were mostly, but not exclusively, new ones by
New England-connected acts. Would you like to know which record made
the biggest hit?

- - - "Watch the Sky" by Patty Larkin.

With any luck, many of our readers got a look at those one- and
two-word excerpts from "Watch the Sky" reviews at the top of the Patty
Larkin item last issue. Clearly a lot of critics and fans alike
really appreciate Larkin's new classic album. I certainly do.

As for this present newsletter issue, time has definitely not been on
my side. I have run late working on it in an attempt to fit in as
many items as possible, without working on it too long and mailing it
TOO late, since a few items posted here speak of events of today.

Much I would have liked to include in this issue is missing, sad to
say, but timeliness is important, too.

<> "Tonight is the last show at Udderly Delicious. We have outgrown
the space and are moving to another venue about 15 miles away in
Pomfret, Connecticut. The Vanilla Bean is a wonderful restaurant and
bistro and well renowned for featuring live music from national and
regional artists. Capacity is 75, so there'll be plenty of seating
there. We begin there on November 13th and will meet on the second
Thursday of every month going forward. Please pass the word. My

solicited many high-profile judges in the music video arena to judge
the entries, including Amy Doyle (Sr. VP of Music and Talent, MTV);
Rick Krim (Executive VP Talent and Programming, VH1); and more. This

Q: What is MTV Games/Harmonix's stance on standalone band games?

A: Our goal is to give fans the most diverse and largest selection of
music possible through the Rock Band platform. While signing exclusive
artists deals are not a priority for us, when presented with the
opportunity to work with legendary artists like AC/DC and make Rock
Band a part of their global marketing campaign, a term of exclusivity
naturally comes into play based on the substantial investment of money
and resources required. It was an honor to be selected by AC/DC as
their video game platform, and to take part in AC/DC's and Columbia's
global plan for the release of their new album and DVD. We are
thrilled to be the first to present these revered songs in interactive
form exclusively on the Rock Band platform.

A: AC/DC LIVE: Rock Band Track Pack follows the release of AC/DC's
first album of all-new material in eight years. The album, "Black

the album's first single, was released on August 28. "Black Ice" will

A: Sony / Columbia Records is Harmonix & MTV Games' partner in
bringing AC/DC LIVE: Rock Band Track Pack and the set list from their
legendary live concert performances worldwide this November. Wal-Mart
is our exclusive retail partner in the US to bring AC/DC LIVE: Rock
Band Track Pack – available at Wal-Mart and Sam's Club retail
locations and Web sites beginning this November.

main point of an item of this sort is that an act has a new record.
The show being announced is of secondary interest to us - if that - as
