Technical trouble with out latest newsletter issue
(it has not affected a lot of people, as far as I can tell)

Hi.
I understand that there was a technical problem with the latest issue
of our newsletter, though I have not totally followed anyone's
description of what the trouble is. So far, no one has told me the
problem is big enough such that I should resend the newsletter, so I
may not. And evidently for most subscribers, the newsletter issue
came through just fine. I have yet to notice a problem, for instance,
with my copy.
Clearly, though, there have been Yahoo-related technical difficulties
this weekend. One of my Issue 238 revisions did not save; so when I
made more revisions, I found I was working with a draft that should
have been two copies back. I have no idea how much work was lost. I
caught some of it.
A very short time ago, I signed out of this account while looking for
information. When I signed back in, the Yahoo Groups "information"
panel on the upper left showed that, in the past few minutes, we had
lost forty-four subscribers. THAT was a bad few minutes! I signed
out and signed back in again and found that, in the meantime, our
number of subscribers was brought back up to what it was in the first
place.
Go figure.
For those who think they may have gotten a bad copy our our Issue 238
or for people who are just curious, the following direct Web address
leads to a Web page that I believe is a complete and accurate copy of
the Vermont fall music preview part of the newsletter. (It was
probably a whole lot bigger than all the other items combined.)
