THE GLADIATORS WITH SPECIAL GUEST ZEMA: FEBRUARY/MARCH 2007 U.S. WEST
COAST TOUR
The legendary Gladiators are the premier roots, rock, reggae band
from Jamaica and are set to embark on their first U.S. tour in many
years. The Gladiators have been on the reggae scene for the past 30
years and have a distinctive sound that they maintain to this day.
They consistently sell out shows worldwide and now bring their high
energy, conscious and powerful music to the West Coast. The
Gladiators' founder, Albert Griffiths, has been in the process of
turning the band over to his two sons he knows are capable of
carrying on this musical heritage. Al Griffiths has taken over the
lead vocals and his voice is virtually indistinguishable from his
father's as can be heard on their latest release, "Father and Sons."
Anthony Griffiths is on drums setting the pace for the band. These
two young reggae warriors have proven both live and in the studio
that they are fully competent and are infusing a new, youthful energy
and substance to carry The Gladiators' legacy into the future after
receiving a tremendous response touring throughout Europe, Brazil,
the South Pacific and Australia to as many as 70,000 fans in some
locations. They are poised and ready to spread their message to the
rest of the world! Original Gladiators members, Gallimore Sutherland
on rhythm guitar and background vocals and Clinton Rufus on lead
guitar will grace this 10-piece lineup along with a horn section.

tour promoting her fifth and latest album, "Overcome" on the
Melchizedek Music label that features The Gladiators, Sly and Robbie,
Abijah, Mark Wonder and showcases her talents as a singer/songwriter,
musician and producer. Since Zema now lives in Jamaica, this will be
a rare opportunity for her fans to catch her in full form. Zema's
music is available at Ernie B's Reggae (www.ebreggae.com) and
Amazon.com. For more info, please check www.ZemaZema.com. This will
be a show you do not want to miss!
