First Ever “A Cappella Stock” to be Held

LAYTON—The Davis Arts Council and vocal band T Minus 5 present “A Cappella Stock
2004”, featuring five of Utah’s nationally recognized A Cappella groups, Sept.
18 at the Ed Kenley Amphitheater.

The family show will highlight T Minus 5, Eclipse, Moosebutter, Reprise and
Octappella. Never before has Utah premiered a combination such as this in one
night, with everything from contemporary A Cappella to classic barbershop.

T Minus 5, along with Eclipse and Moosebutter, have competed at the National
Harmony Sweepstakes. T Minus 5 continues to perform throughout the western
United States. Eclipse was recognized at the 2002 Olympic Winter Games as
featured performers. Moosebutter was awarded best comedy song at the
Contemporary A Cappella Awards in 2003. Reprise, a barbershop group, is the
champion of the 2001 International Collegiate Barbershop Competition. Finally,
Octappella has sold thousands of CD’s in Utah and the surrounding states and
remains one of Utah’s premiere groups.

Tickets are $10 for adults and $6 for children (12 and under). They may be
purchased in advance by visiting www.davisartscouncil.com. The show will begin
at 7 p.m.
