The Wild West is happy to report some very good news for Torme fans! There are
the two live dates so far announced for Mr Bernie Torme. The first of these is
at the Ruskin Arms ( www.ruskinarms.co.uk ), as part of the Clive Aid 2005, a
benefit for Clive Burr, (Iron Maiden and Desperado drummer now dealing with MS)

Bernie and Alex Kane of AntiProduct ( http://www.antiproduct.com ). However that
has changed and is now involving a 4 piece, with John McCoy, Robin Guy, and Alex
Kane. For further details, go to www.cliveaid.homestead.com/

Locally, for us folks in the colonies, specifically in the NY, who are not able
to make it over to the UK for the above, there are a few things happening!
Specifically, in May the Wild West is promoting its first shows, featuring some
of the hottest bands on the New York scene, at the Vintage Bar and Restaurant, (
http://www.vintagebar.net ) on Main Street in White Plains, NY.
On Friday, May 6, we have Honor Among Thieves ( www.thievesrocks.com" ) and the
Sex Slaves ( www.sexslavesnyc.com )
On Saturday, May 28th, the Wild West returns to the Vintage with two more hot
bands coming from New York city, this time the New Professionals (
www.new-professionals.com ) and Mad Juana ( www.madjuana.com ) . And for you
folks in the UK, Mad Juana is in London at the Camden Underworld and several
other venues. Do be warned, they are not the Electric Gypsies!.
Not only do we have these shows but there is a bunch of things going on in
Manhattan, and we will list some of those shortly. Plus we got LA Guns,
Blackfoot, and the Black Crowes passing thru!
In regard to new music, Bernie has not given any hints on the album he continues
to work on, and the DVD is from what I hear coming out in April. I do recommend
that in the mean time you check out the New Professionals (
www.new-professionals.com ). It is not Bernie Torme, but still good!
Anyway, for those who are in the UK and who have tickets, do enjoy! For those in
the New York metro area, we hope to see some you folks here hopefully at the
Wild West promoted shows! The rest of you will have to fend for yourselves! One
last thing. . .all are encouraged to support the Clive Burr Trust (
www.ironmaiden.com/clive.htm )
