Been away for a little while and just got back into town.
Glad that amp worked out. The trem de la trem is a great little amp and I've
also found it can hold it's own in small to medium size clubs as well. The last
jam I used my buddy's at was a 140 seater and although it was almost cranked you
could easily hear it anywhere in the room.
I think a lot of people under estimate tube watts.
In one case I used my victorilux in an auditorium like those you see in high
schools. It was a big New Year's party. My amp wasn't mic'd, I had it up to
about 8 and believe me you could hear that sucker.
I also agree that the trem on the trem de la trem is one of the best around
anywhere. As far as victorias go, I haven't heard them all but that's the best
I've heard to date.

favorite Victoria model. Huge, smooth sound, but with cut. It got rave reviews
from people in the club as well. We played with a second guitarist who had a Vox
15 watt with a pedal. I went straight into my amp. Besides from my tone killing
his, the amp hung right in with the volume. And it was getting a little loud. I
had the volume on 9 and the channels jumpered. The trem is the best I've ever
heard. It sounded great with P90's and a Telecaster, and a National Resolectric
guitar/dobro. Believe it or not, I like it better than the Regal II, plus its
about 12 lb's lighter. The Regal II would probably get louder with a more
efficient speaker (the Eminence thats in the trem de la trem for example) than
the Weber it comes with though.
