The Victor Mourning are a shadow-haunted Americana band from Austin, Texas, who perform acoustic anachronisms from another century that are firmly rooted in this one; sometimes raucous, sometimes quiet, mostly dark, and very southern. The songs are about grief torn outcasts and albinos. And then there's the one about the man who eats nothing but locusts and Campbell's soup.
