Bobby Sanabria
¡New York City Aché! Bobby Sanabria & Ascensión
CD (Flying Fish 70630), Released 1993;
Produced by Bobby Sanabria & Rachel Faro
Arranged by Bobby Sanabria, Hiram Remón & Ron Greenhut

A beautiful debut release by one of New Yorks most innovative bands.
Sanabria is a well known percussionist who has played with the best
orquestas including Mario Bauza's and Paquito D'Rivera's United
Nations Orchestra. There are some incredible moments on this CD, one
of which is the amazing one-on-one percussive conversation Sanabria
has with guest artist Tito Puente.
Reviews:
"If variety is the 'spice' of life, then this CD has got to be
the 'main course.' A full exploration of the many different genres
that make up the Afro-Caribbean diaspora. Unpretentious and in good
taste. " (Chico Alvarez 96/97 Catalog)
