Mark Levine And The Latin Tinge
Isla
CD (Left Coast Clave 003), Released 2003;
Editor's Pick:
New Latin jazz project by pianist Mark Levine & The Latin Tinge
features a heavy-duty rhythm section with Michael Spiro on
percussion and Paul Van Wageningen on drums. I especially liked
Peter Barshay's understated bassline on the slow-driving Kenny
Garrett composition "Ain't Nothing But the Blues."
Recommended. (BP, 2003-03-09)

Song titles include:
Black 4:36

Corta Ese Bonche 6:16
A Free Man 4:58
Seis Pa' Chuito 5:29

Con Alma 7:09
Te Para Dos (Tea For Two) 4:30
You Don't Know What Love Is 3:36
