I have a digital turntable, which can play LPs (or 45s and
even 78s) and simultaneously suck the contents into my computer as a
digital file, which can then be burned to a CD, or loaded onto an
iPod, etc.
Easy to use, and good results-- the only catch is that the digital
file accurately catches all the hisses, scratches and pops along with
the music...
If you're trusting enough to send me your LP I'll happily send it
back with a CD version. Or, if you have a lot of treasured LPs which
you'd like to have on CD, you might want to consider buying a digital
turntable yourself.

Mine is TTUSB10, but TTUSB05, at half the price, might do just as well.
