Started this list amidst the swirl of rumour/conjecture and sadness following the close of Minneapolis, MN's landmark night club/concert venue First Avenue. Intended as a place to discuss it, a source for the latest news and rumours(hard to tell which is which right now), and to gather a group of people wiling to help support the venue in some way should it reopen as an independent venue. This list has no affiliation with anyone who represents First Avenue or any of the various parties involved in the battles over the venue. Totally unofficial, just a place for random supporters to gather, chat, mourn, and hopefully plan ways to help the club should it reopen(independent and local) and ways to support our local scene in general.
