Hi all!  I had a friend translate an article I found just to make
sure I was reading it correctly.  Here's his translation...we Mana
fans have something to look forward to!

A Mana documentary is to be made.

The documentary, explained Rosoff, will have as the common thread the
lives of the musicians that created hits such as "Vivir sin Aire".

Mexico City (February 3). – The whole world  knows the music of Mana,
but now Fher, Sergio, Alex and Juan will become immortal on video,
when the documentary of the band's history is filmed, under the
direction of Eduardo Rosoff.

The one that brought about Ave Maria commented that for a long time
the proposal has been considered to finalize the project, and that
filming could begin in the next few weeks.

Rossoff and the tapatian quartet became acquainted last year, when he
directed the video "Eres Mi Religion" in th city of Guanajuato.

"As Rockers, not only are they good, but also as people they have a
political agenda that we need, in addition to defending the
environment with their foundation Selva Negra. Fher loves the idea of
a documentary, as long as it's well planned, and wouldn't mind
getting started if possible as soon as tommorow" commented the film
director.

The documentary, explained Rosoff,  will have as a common thread the
lives of the musicians that created hits such as "vivir sin
Aire", "En el muelle de San Blas", and "Clavado en un Bar" and it
will contain scenes from concerts put on by the band.

"What will be shown is a little bit of their spirit. I know that in
Mexico documentaries are not a genre that has gone over very well,
but this will be about important people of this country and they
should enjoy it very much."

"They are people who in their songs and albums, like the last one
(Revolucion de Amor), they try to avoid corruption and ask for land ,
justice, and liberty" he explained.

In fact, Rossoff commented, who currently lives in the U.S.,  his
love of nature is what has brought him close to Mana.

"Right now Mexico has ten percent of all of the animals in the world
and we are destroying them. They don't just talk, but they take
advantage of their fame to create change and when I worked with them
I really felt good, it's worth it to do the documentary" he said.

Mana currently has on the market a DVD made up of the videos of their
musical hits.

I must admit to a huge soft spot for Antonio Banderas, only b/c of
his looks.  He happens to bear a huge resemblence to a Chilean soccer
player, Marcelo Salas, who plays for Juventus of the Italian soccer
league.

I voted about 150 times yesterday and forgot how many I did the day
before when I found that site. ;-)))  Gods among us mortals?  That
must be Alex.....or else Paolo...

I cannot beliexe who they put up there. Ricky Martin? PUH-LEEEZ!
He's too pretty. I like my men to actually look like men. Benicio
Del Toro? WHAT?!?!?! He looks like he's been hung upside down for
the last six years, and then beaten with an ugly stick like a
piñata! Now for my favorite guy to bash, Antonio "I'm too sexy for
some brains" Banderas. I can't stand the ones who think that they're
so hot. Look at our Fher and Alex, Gods on Earth, but they're right
here, down to earth with us mortals. Aaaahhhhh! I feel SO much
better now that I've gotten that off of my chest. I would have had a
much harder time voting if there had been  Andy Garcia--NOT Andres
Garcia, another jerk!-- Esai Morales, and Joan Sebastian along with
Fher. Anyway, I've already voted 100 times, and I'm going to keep it
up to see if I can get our guy in first place. Well, I've taken up
enough space, so I'll close, and get back to voting!

Well, it's taken me a while to update, but the concert was
FANTASTIC!!! The only problem I had was with security. My favorite
quote is "It's better to die on your feet than to live on your
knees"--"Mas vale morir de pie que vivir de rodillas" by Emiliano
Zapata. Sice it had such a connection to "Justicias, Tierra, y
Lebertad", I thought I would make a BIG banner. It came out freat,
and people asked me to show it all around the Allstate Arena. So, we
walked all over, and it went over great. After we got back to our
seat, security came over and said that the poster could incite
people to become too rowdy. DUH! That was the point!! Stand up for
yourself. Anyway, they took it away. They said it was either give it
up or be ejected. So I gave it to them, but not without the audience
around us booing at them. Alex was great, Fher was hot, and Sergio &
Juan tore it up! Can't wait for the next time!!!

hola a todos, soy súper fan de Maná... el disco de Maná lo compré en
preventa el 12 y se empezó a vender a nivel internacional desde el 19
de agosto.. el disco está súper chido, mi canción favorita por ahora
es Mariposa Traicionera :D  Maná se oye como en la canción de Celoso,
puede sonar como trio o como una banda de rock!!
