I have just joined this group. I recently created a group for a
special experiment: I want to learn if Americans (and other English
speakers who know no Russian) can appreciate Vysotsky's singing.

The group is GreatestBard. In the files area of that group, so far,
I have placed three songs in mp3 format along with txt files
containing (1) transliteration, (2) quasi-phonetic transcription, and
(3) literal word-by-word translation and also links to professional
translations.

The three songs so far uploaded are Ballad of a Short Neck, Impulsive
Horses, and Hunting Wolves.

If anyone is interested, I would appreciate any comments, criticisms,
suggestions, or recommendations.
