HI Aaron,
I'm a classicaly trained cellist from a small city in Washington. I
studied at Manhattan School of Music with David Geber for one
semester then came back, as I found it the opposite of liberating.
Then I studied with John Michel at Central Washington University. I
must be allergic to dorms. So I'm back in Wenatchee taking music
theory from the community college...
but at heart i'm a rock star. I cant stand the lifeless emotionless
boring performances so many classically trained musicians give. i
like to be uninhibited, unrestrained. i was born to rock an
audience, really grab them by the balls. its a special power that i
have only met in a couple of other people, despite my travels to
higher institutions.
I'm so frusterated right now. i love performing apocalyptica tunes,
banging my head and such. The problem i face is one i've always
struggled with: finding passionate souls that want to create amazing
rocking innovative music and tour the major stages of the US.
nothing excites me more than fantasizing being on a stage with
Nirvana or Metallica. Alternating singing and playing the cello. I
need to invent a more sturdy bow. one thats better for metal music.
O.k. I need to go practice.
