Meredith,
I think I know about that festival. I saw the program on a website. Isn't it
something like Medow Music Festival? How funny that it turns out that your
mother was one of the cellists! Today two other cellists are playing my duets in
a concert in Old Westbury, NY.
Please tell me more. What is your mother's name, and that of her partner? How
was the audience reaction? Do they have a program, or a tape that they could
send me? I always love finding out about concerts with my music. Also, let me
know if they would like to be signed up to my email list.
As for Scott, that is amazing that you are so close to him. If you see him, tell
him I said hi, and let him know about your and your mom's use of my music. I
think he would get a kick out of knowing that his "crazy" old roommate is
changing the cello repertoire of cellists out there in Washington State! :-)
Feel free to email back to this group, or email me at voncello@....
Thanks,
Aaron
