I'm sorry to say that my husband has passed away from cancer, we
didn't even know he had until the end of last month--and possibly
some medical mis-calculations. He was a wonderful man and he will be
missed by many. I loved him more than I can say, and I was blessed
beyond all measure to have my treasured uber-alpha-geek in my life
for 15 wonderful years.

I am surrounded by the most incredible people, who are looking after
me and making sure that all the business stuff is taken care of.
Without them, I would not be able to stand up, or even contemplate
living after Scott.

We had a memorial/wake for him this weekend, and the outpouring of
love and the overwhelming response from friends and colleagues, some
friends that go back for years and years. There was a whole
contingent of people that work with him...not just with his company
but with his company's CLIENTS!!! I keep babbling "incredible" but to
know Scott was indeed to love him and everyone who worked with him,
or knew him as a friend, well...he was an amazing man.

He started chemo, and is responding well!!!!!!!!

Keep pluggin' for us! We're not out of the woods yet, but we have a
GPS and a mobile computing device with wi-fi and broadband
connectivity!

no Estrella we didn't get it. Yahoo does that a lot. I own an ApologetiX group
in yahoo. They do the same thing Weird Al does only they turn the lyrics into
christian lyrics. Anyway,quite often a message i send doesn't arrive,then when
someone else posts a message,almost always,the message i sent shows up then
everyone thinks i'm reposting or posting similar messages because my posts will
be the same as theirs. this is mainly the updated news on the band that does it
more or less though. if i'm just posting to reply or just saying hi,etc it never
does that. So i'm not sure what the deal is but it's done this for years. I had
a few issues of that in this room as well. But anyway,try again if you want to.

Fuzzy and JohnBob, my apologies for my bad memory. I do believe my
posts tapered off around 2004 or so. Life can be so distracting! But
it's nice to indulge in a STUPID reunion!

Indeed, Al seems to be everywhere these days, Betsy. Which is good,
because I get in a particular mood for him and the good Dr. Demento in
the spring time.

Now, as for members whose IDs I remember...is Holly/hbh still about? I
