Re:Hey look, a post that is not spam!

Well, I'm here at least.

Check weirdal.com - the front page has news of him recording 6 songs for the new
album thus far.

I also discovered Al has a page on MySpace.com (see my page for a link to his).

PH, IMHO, has its merits. "Bob" is great. Ben Folds playing on "WDTAHTM?" was
ingenious, and it's a great song, and the Al & Ben Only version on the enhanced
CD-ROM is a real treat.

I don't have to like the original songs he parodies at all. I'm no Nelly fan,
but "Trash Day" cracks me up to no end.

Not a huge fan, unfortunately of "Genious in France"

In all, I think we were spoiled by Running With Scissors, since it was such an
AMAZING album, very hard to beat. PH couldn't quite do it, but I think it was a
great try.

Is anybody still on this group? I admit I haven't been following up on Al as much as I used to. Any news of a new album coming out? I'm going to criticize...

Oops! I was a little too quick with the "Send" button - didn't finish my thought here: I loved the music of "Genius in France," great homage to Zappa, but did...

I'm here, too. I liked PH and went to see 2 concerts (Peoria and Arnold Park). I really enjoyed Hardware store. I think it took a tremendous amount of effort...
