I actually bought his first CD on purpose when I heard a clip of "So It Goes"
on an episode of Cupid.  I had to track down who the artist was on message
boards, but I did and I'm glad I did! :o)

Yeah, I got his first CD as a fluke also. I was looking for jewel cases at
a local record store. '12 Ways..' was in a bin out front free for the
taking. (I think he was pretty poorly treated by his record company then-
you've heard the story for emerging artists.) Anyway, I was blown away. I
agree, Pollyanna is even better. It's short, but there ain't a dog in the
kennel.

He and his wife had a baby a few months ago, so at that time he was pretty
consumed with that. I don't think he is personally on the list though I
will sometimes get a note to pass on here from his management as this list
is publicly viewable. I hope to hear of some more music, either recorded
or maybe some gigs soon. :-)

I notice this list doesn't have much traffic. I got
Wes' first album by a fluke when I worked for my
college newspaper and they were sent a review copy. I
got the review copy once they were done with it. And I
was able to get Polyanna used recently. It's even
better than the first album.

What is Wes doing right now? Does he read this list?

Jen, Wes and his wife had a baby a couple months ago so I've been told
that he's been pretty busy with the father thing. Hopefully we'll see more
music when he's got the diaper and night time crying thing down. :-) I'm
patiently waiting too.

I found out that Wes is not going to be on Letterman, but I did find out
he and his wife had a bouncing baby boy earlier this month- he's a new
dad! :-)

Hmm.. well, the Letterman schedule doesnt go that far forward; Wes'
official page is still showing the last update from last summer and the
WC message board doesn't have anything recent either, so unless we get a
   note from the official announcement list, I don't know if I'd take too
much stock in it. (But that'd be great if it does happen! :-)

Hey! Yeah Zac, as in little brother of Issac and Taylor. I was
friends with them way before they got big.(headed) LOL! Zac really
likes Wes and wants to help him out in the business. Because Wes is
so incredablly awesome! If you like music like Wes's style you
should check out Jessica Harp,and Tyler Hilton(not related to the
Hilton sisters!) Some others that you might check out are Jason
Manfredi and Amy Correia. Well talk to yall later!

Ahhh.. I found '12 Ways..' on a stack of throwaway CDs when I was
looking for empty jewel cases outside of a local record store- I almost
tossed it out but decided to put it on for a lark,  thinking it'd be
crap. Little did I know how great it would be. And 'Pollyanna' just blew
me away with how good the songs were- pity it was only 35 or so minutes
long. I hope we can hear some more music soon, but I know its tough to
be a recording artist with such an unsettled industry.

Anyway, thanks for jumping on the list! (And 'Hi' Connie- the above
answers your question too! :-)

Hi folks, to this pretty well quiet group. I just want to pass on a public
service announcement regarding a dumb thing that Yahoo is now doing to
track those that log in to it's services one way or the other. Basically
it has to do with tracking usage when you are outside Yahoo's domain,
something they have ABSOLUTELY NO right to do, and I wish privacy laws
would cover crap like this. Yes, this list if hosted via a Yahoo service,
but it's mostly out of convenience to me. Anyway, the 2 sections below are
all content not written by me but I have followed the instructions for my
own self. Do with it what you want.

If you have a Yahoo email account, subscribe to Yahoo mailing lists /
Groups, or do anything at Yahoo that required singing in, please listen
up.  Yahoo has begun using a new tracking technology, referred to as
Web Beacons, to trace where you surf outside of Yahoo servers. However

Here is the mesage I recieved from a Yahoo Group. Just follow the
instructions to opt out of this new snooper. Opting out must be done on
every CPU that you use to log in to Yahoo. Each cnfiguration cookie
must be changed.

something called "Web Beacons" to track Yahoo Group users around the

But be careful because on that page there is a "CancelOpt-out" button
that, if clicked, will *undo* the opt-out.

This is something NEW. Protect yourself if you don't want to be tracked.
