One of High Plains Public Radio's air staff will receive an honor
this coming Saturday night. Alan Bailey, who has hosted the popular
Saturday morning program Western Swing and Other Things (Saturdays
from 9-10:30 am) for two decades will be inducted in the Western
Swing Music Society of Kansas Hall of Fame. The society's president,
Diane Good, says choosing Bailey was an important way of honoring
someone who has helped perpetuate western swing music.
