I have been asked by the family to send the sad news that Turk
Wade passed away yesterday just after noon.  You know Turk
and Betty for years have promoted the Texas Playboy Reunion in
Pawhuska.  This year's event on Sept. 10 & 11 will be the
last.  Funeral services will be Tues 10AM at the Methodist
Church in Pawhuska, arranged by Johnson Funeral Home there
in town.  Turk will be buried with full militlary rites.
 
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations in
Turk's name (T. S. Wade, Jr.) for the Veteran's Memorial.  Mail
your donation to the First National Bank, 100 W Main, Pawhuska,
OK.  74056.
