Sounds like you've been really busy these days! The event with Leon
Gibbs in Wichita Falls was just wonderful. He played with local
bands, (I think one was called The Over the Hill Band), Larry Lange
and the Lone Star Troubadores and also Eddie McAlvain (not sure I
spelled that right)...anyway it was just really neat being at the MB
Corral where the Miller Brothers had their home base even though I
didn't know the history of it until now. Too bad it's not in such
great shape. :(

I got to meet Floyd of Floyd's Hill...I recognized him from the
festivals we attend...just didn't make the connection before now. I
was so glad he let us know about the event. It was worth the 8 hour
round trip to attend a 3 hour dance.

We also got to visit with Bill and Nay Adams. Bill was the emcee.
They're such nice people! Anyway, it was a great time and just wanted
to share.

Looking forward to the thing you'll be doing in the Gem Theatre at
Claude. Keep us posted!
