Howdy Tam,
Yep, the time is growing shorter, that's for sure. It's been a long
time in the works, but it looks like it's finally going to happen.
Each show will be totally differant with differant guests and
western swing bands. The "South Plains Playboys" are the
house band. I don't know who they are, just that they are
associated with Joe Carr; a group that he has put together.
The whole thing will be sort of a history of western swing music.
I personally had no idea about the south plains/ panhandle thing
that you mentioned, but thank you for that geographical
information. .. haha.....
Now, as far as my name being mispelled; well, that's the story of
my life.... no one seems to know the correct way to spell Allen. I'll
have to talk to them before they print up the posters.
