Howdy there Han,
It's always good to hear from you!
Yes, Jerry was one of the all time greats in steel guitar
music..... "The Master of Touch and Tone". I always wanted to meet
him, but alas.. I never was in the right place at the right time. You
could always tell when he was on a recording......and personally, I
think that he augmented Hank's recordings tremendously.
I hate getting old. Just in the last few years, we have lost
sooooooooooo many friends in the music business. Friends that made
huge impacts. God bless them all.
Have a safe trip to Hawaii my friend. I envy you. I have never been
that far away from home. When you get back, report to us if you see
any pretty girls in bikinis... haha.
