Hey there Han,
Thanks for the site info on the steel guitar. I don't know if I have
ever mentioned this to you, but I am a steel player too (I play too
many instruments). I have been to several conventions over the
years, and the subject of 'modern country music' and their
attempts to do away with the steel is quite a common subject. If
the execs have their way... it will all be rock and roll based junk in
a few years...it's almost there now. Thank God for all of the
dedication of traditionalist who keep western swing, traditional
country and bluegrass alive!
Speaking of the steel... a great site to visit is Frenchy's. I don't
know the site addy for sure, but the google search is "Frenchy's
Pedal Steel Guitar Shop".
