Marriott hotel, 3rd fl. tonite (Sun.) 6-9pm in Waikiki, 2 blox West
from Kapiolani Park/the Zoo and you'll hear some of the best Hawaiian
music available today on stage. Martin Pahinui and group will be
playing, and will have Bobby Ingano sitting in on lap steel. You
can't find better live Hawaiian music than this. Martin is a son of
the great Gabby Pahinui, and carries on his Father's awesome
tradition of the laid back local country style of music you don't
find much of any more. Bobby is the best 'feel' player in Hawaii
today, and can replicate Gabby's steel playing, as well as 'Feet'
Rogers style from the Son's of Hawaii, plus his 'own' playing is
unmatchable.
