Here is another fine website on the Steel Guitar.The nicest features
are the biographies of many of the great steel players from across the
years.While there are some names from other types of music,the
inclusion of Speedy West,Leon"take it way Leon,take it away" Mc
Auliffe,Herb Remington and Noel Boggs ,I guess qualifies this bio list
as being Western Swing related.
Ok I see you folks in the back of the room there raising your hand
apout Speedy West on the list above-I know west
coast,California,Tenessee Ernie Ford and Kay Starr.....Like I have told
a few of my listeners over the years, go listen to some Billy Jack Wills
