Re: [whatsrattlin] Canterbury feature on BBC Kent website

I've been watching the Wyatt interview clips. Interesting how he seems to refuse
to use Mike Ratledge's name. He refers to him either as "the organist" or "Brian
Hopper's friend from school". I mean, I know Robert went through a tough
emotional time there when he parted with Soft Machine but it's sad to think
there's never been any kind of reconciliation after all these years. I'm sure
there's a back story there that we'll never know but still... It's been how many
years and he can't/won't even say his name? I hope for them both that someday
they'll talk. Life is so short and as Hugh's death so aptly demonstrated
anything can happen. It's interesting that those two are the only ones left from
the Classic lineup and they're not on speaking terms. I know... I know... we've
gone over all this before. It's just what's on my mind after watching these...
Robert looks good though, I think.

Jeff
