Wow! There's no better way to say it. The BBQ was a total success! We
had an amazing turn out. We got to meet a lot of new people. Without
having taken a head count, I would say we had around 20 people show.

We want to thank our wonderful drummers, Chris and Barb. It was so
nice to have their rythms to spin to! It was a new experience to them
too. They had never seen fire spinning before. Barb also had fun
dancing with some hand candles! Although we hope to have more
drummers next time, they did a great job! Thanks to them also for
bringing some very different types of percussion instruments. The
variety of sounds to choose from was so much fun!

We also want to thank Seth and his friends. You guys rocked! We never
could've imagined so many fire spinners in our area. We really
appreciated that you guys made sure to cover your supplies. The
temporary poi heads were new to us, but definately did the trick. We
plan on passing the idea around, especially for burners on a tight
budget or those just starting out. Thanks also for helping out with
spotting. It's always nice to see people working together and helping
each other out.

Thanx again to everyone! It truly was an amazing display of skill and
talent partnered with wonderful music!

We look foward to seeing some of you out at HullabalU, and then
seeing everyone out at the park on the 21st!
