Resonance 2.0 - dEvolvE is Keepers of the Flames' second annual three day
camping event that upholds the ideals of the Burning Man Festival and other
regional burns throughout the world. The goal of Resonance is to unite the
scattered Burners and potential Burners of the Midwest in this celebration of
Art, Fire, and Life - further spreading the unique Burner Experience throughout
the region. Like at Burning Man, we will build a temporary city-community of
tents, domes, light, dance, fire and music in the wilderness (in this case the
plains, not the desert). We will celebrate our diversity continuously from
Friday through Sunday morning. Then we will dismantle our city and Leave No
Trace.

This years theme is dEvolvE! From modern day to the stone age, from the milky
way to the Big Bang, from homo sapiens to amoebas - get creative! Come dEvolvE
with us!

Resonance 2.0 is September 25th - 27th, 2009 on secluded private property
located in Valley Center, KS, at the corner of W 73rd St N and N Tyler Rd., a
short 5 minute drive north of west Wichita. We will occupy an established
campground property complete with trails, meadows, riverbanks, lodges, cabins,
firepits, a showerhouse and picnic and recreation areas.



A Burn is traditionally an outdoor event where people come together to recreate
the Burning Man experience closer to home. At the height of many Burns a giant
wooden effigy is burned while the participants celebrate with drums, music, and
dance. Since Resonance occurs in the fall, it is also a de-compression party of
sorts. Resonance is time for relaxation and reminiscence as we decompress from
Burning Man and the outdoor burn season.

Come on out, camp, express yourself, and co-create a wonderful experience
