Hello Gang,

Hey here's a topic that we all could learn from. I would like to know what would be the best way to ask or convince someone to hire your self or your band to play for an event or tell them you got a __ piece band is looking to play for their event.

Well you got the idea...... So let's hear all of your thoughts.

For me I have been asked.... but never been called back. Like I've been asked what I charge.  I tell them it depends on travel costs.... how log? 1-4 hours? How many musicians? (For the space able to play in.)

I look at about $60 - $100 just for myself and or other musicians. $100 for me to bring a sound system.

I was going to say more... but I'll see what people think first. I hope it's a good topic for the group.

Thomas
