That is an interesting roll frame.
Johnson organs used some thing like that in the 1970's, not sure if they are still using it.
I wonder how they controlled the speed (tempo).
On the Johnson organ frame they used a single drive motor, for both play and rewind.  With their design one could not vary the tempo. (at least I do not know how to do it)
It would be a rather simple roll frame to build.
Does any one still make 125 tracker bars?  Not sure how to get the square holes with out had filing.
