Major World Championships on August 11th in Glasgow, Scotland. WUSPBA DM Judge

Shaw believes that this is the first time that an overseas, non-British, drum
major has won
this title. Two other WUSPBA association drum majors also place highly at the
Worlds. Kevin
MacHeffner of LA Scots placed 6th in the finals and Robert La Var of Mesa
Caledonia placed
for the first time in the Novice Junior contest taking 4th.
