Over the past several days, we have completely re-written the live
Xero/G set. Every single song (all 9 of them) have been revised, in
some cases, drastically.

We even pulled "Remember" off of the oldest computer in my apartment
(for those of you who might care, "Remember" was the last song we
wrote using traditional synths, before switching over to soft-synths
for all studio work)...so yeah, went and grabbed the midi file, and
essentially covered my own song to remake it.

We've got shows coming up on the 6th of March @ CBGB's Gallery's
Monday night "Alchemy", and that next Sunday (the 13th) @ B.Y.T.E.,
which is shaping up to be NYC's best fetish party. I have to admit,
I'm pretty psyched about both shows :) B.Y.T.E. in particular usually
has 100+ people in attendence :)

NYC DJ Lucien wants to do a radio interview with us for his show, and
I've written about half the lyrics for the next song, which in my
opinion may be the best music on the 2nd album.

If anyone is feeling especially "genki" (Japanese for healthy or
vigorous), mail the people at DragonCon (dragoncon@...) or
post on one of their Usenet groups (alt.fandom.dragoncon,
alt.fandom.cons, and rec.arts.sf.fandom) to tell them you want Xero/G
to play this year's con. We've sent in our press kit, but any and all
help you guys could give would be awesome.

This is going to be a good show. Anyone who saw us @ the Synthpop
Festival earlier this month knows that we've added a whole new visual
element to our show - and on top of that, we're going to have a
guitarist this time!

This show is extremely important to us, please come out, support us,
support the live electronic music movement, and let us know that
there are people out there who really care *sniff*.

I know Contempt is Saturday night as well, but for the price of two
beers, you can stop by Albion first, say hello and catch an amazing

Lots of stuff is happening, and I think you'll be very happy with the
new songs, both Victoria and I think they are *far* better than the
first album, without changing the genre...we're just gettin' better :)

That's right, one week from today, Monday February 2nd 2004, Xero/G
will be playing @ Korova Milk Bar in NYC, starting @ 10:00pm.

We've been working on some new songs, expect changes to the live
show!  We know it's cold outside, so come down to the East Village,
to the bar described as "The CBGB's for synthpop".  After Xero/G, I-
Synthesist will break out his quirky, mad-scientist set, and then DJ
Sensorburn will spin until the wee hours of the morning.

Tonight, also at the Milk Bar, Seth from Xero/G will be taking part
in "The S.M.T.P.E. Sessions", proving that it is possible to jam out
with live electronic music.  It's been described as Daft Punk meets
Aphex Twin, and its guaranteed to make you forget your troubles (and

It's time again for the annual American Synthpop Awards sponsored by
LexiconMagazine.com. This is the third year that we have done these
awards which recognize excellence in the North American synthpop
scene.

The first stage will run through Feb 16, 2003 and will be the
nomination stage. You can nominate any group (or song/album as the
case may be) that meets the criteria. In stage two you will be able
to vote for the top 5 vote getters in each category.

Criteria – songs, albums or remixes nominated should have been
released as a CD or download file available to the public in calendar
2002 (January through December). The acts making the music should be
primarily (at least 50%) from North America (Canada, the US and
Mexico). Ultimate eligibility of any nomination will be at the
discretion of the judges.
