Hey folks! We are very proud to announce our BLUE NOTE
DEBUT! This Saturday night we will be playing the legendary
jazz club for the first time ever. Now normally, the Blue Note
costs a gazillion dollars to get in. But for our debut show the
price is a mere eight bucks. So if you've never been there before,
now's your chance to check it out at a discount price. Plus you
get two sets of burnin' Ya Esta music to dance the night away.
Yes, yes we know it's late - but hey, you don't have to work on
Sunday!! This show is a part of the Blue Note's ongoing "Late
Night Groove Series" and part of their annual "Latin Jazz
Festival." We are honored to be a part of both.

For this show we will be expanding to a SEPTET for the night.
So you will be thrilled by the horns of both Matt Hilgenberg and
our favorite sax player, Jay Rodriguez (from Groove Collective).
We will also be featuring the talents of young drum phenom
David Gomez (joining us for the 1st time) and our good friend
Itaiguara on bass. You heard him on our WFMU show. Check

PLEASE NOTE: This LATE NIGHT set is on SATURDAY NIGHT,
into SUNDAY MORNING. Yes, yes we know… after the clock
strikes midnight, it's technically Sunday… but we're calling it
Saturday, since that's the day you'll be waking up and thinking -
"tonight's the big show!" We gotten tons of calls and emails from
folks asking if we're really playing on Friday night - but we're not.
It's SATURDAY night, technically SUNDAY morning. ¿Entiende?

This show will be dedicated to the memory of Ray Barretto. ¡Que
viva la musica!
