So you are recording midi data correct? You need to make sure you then aim the output to whatever you want to play. If you want to play the aleses then make sure you have a midi out from the n12 to the aleses and then select the n12 midi out on the recorded track.

I've hooked up my Alesis keyboard and it's sending data and I can
record data, but I have no playback. Any of you guys using MIDI? How do you hear
your playback? The setup was easy in Cubase because it recognized my keyboard.
