Levin Summer Adventures:
     We have been having quite a lively summer. Our tadpoles are now
officially frogs. It was great seeing these fishy like characters sprout legs &
lose
tails in a few short days this past month.
Hannah & her brothers have been crabbing at Nana's house nearly daily. Matt &
Nik found monarch caterpillars eating Mama Levin's Dil in the herb garden.
They are being fed & kept in a terrarium. They are growing quite quickly.
Yosi & Heather are celebrating their 11th wedding anniversary, & Hannah turns
10 this month. Holy cow! Where's the time going?
     Last week the family went tubing off the back of Poppy's boat. While
taking a quick dip in the warm brackish waters of the bay Nik had an encounter
with the wild. Poor kid got stung by a jelly fish on the leg! We rushed him home
& checked out a few web sites, called a pharmacist & a doctor & found that
nothing works! Can you believe it?! Nothing removes the stinging sensation!
There were some home remedies (some too gross to mention). But the best that any
one could do is put on an antibacterial cream, hot or cold compresses (which
ever feels a bit better), & the best recommendation was...(drum roll,
please)..."get your mind off of it."
     Aside from that misadventure we have been enjoying nights at the board
walk, some local parks (Jon went on first nature hike), the beach, swimming &
sailing.
     Oh, does anybody know what to do with gooseberries? We bought some at a
fruit farm & would like to know if there's anything we can do with them
outside of gooseberry pie (because we didn't buy enough to make a whole pie).

Schools:
     Yosi is looking forward to his autumn school performances. This year he
has added a New them show!!! ----> Animal Antics (More high energy fun than a
barrel of monkeys!) Featuring ALL songs about ... animals, of course.
     Halloween & Christmas/Hannukah dates are going fast. Book your fall

     It may seem a bit early, but autumn birthday parties are filling up the

Summer Concerts:
Yosi has had some huge gatherings at recent summer shows. And why not?
Almost all the shows are FREE & usually at great locations, such as: the beach,
parks & libraries. Thanks one & all for coming to the performances. It's so
good to see your smiling faces again each summer.
     If you haven't seen Yosi perform this summer this is your last chance to
catch him before the season is over.
