Howdy-ho, folks!
Welcome to a (belated) edition of the Yosi & Family November 2003 Newsletter.
It's Saturday night & we are enjoying a lovely full eclipse of the moon.
It's pretty amazing to watch this celestial event & wonder at the beauty of
the cosmos. Of course, Matt & Nik are convinced that this is a sure sign that
zombies will awaken & terrorize the neighborhood. I suppose there is such a
thing as viewing too many Scooby Doo episodes.
THE LEVIN FAMILY:
October has been a fun month for the Levin Bunch.
This Halloween Yosi performed his "Spooky/Silly Halloween" theme show at
lots of school & private parties dressed as the cat-in-the-hat. It was great
fun!
Our town also hosted the annual harvest bonfire on the beach, with two
spooky story tellers & Yosi got to DJ. Kids had a screaming & howling contest.
Best screamers & howlers won gifts. We look forward to this great event every
year.
This October the Levin kids made "witch" cupcakes, & picked apples &
pumpkins at an orchard. We also went on a family hay ride (howling at the moon,
telling creepy stories & enjoying great eats)!
As for costumes: Hannah was a french maid, Matt was a furby, Nik was an
owl from harry potter movie, & Jonathan was a frog. Or as Jon says, "Og."
A tradition at the Levin home is called "scream for a treat." That's
where trick-or-treaters need to scream at the front door into a microphone
that's
connected to an echo effect in order to get a treat. The louder the scream the
better the treat. The sound of screams echoes loudly throughout the street.
Our neighbors just love us!

THE UPCOMING YOSI CD:
Well, so far the upcoming Yosi CD has 12 songs. The piano tracks, &
background vocals are done. Yosi sings a lullaby duet with a wonderful female
vocalist, & there's a great groovin' Reggae song too. And for the first time on
any
Yosi album we have some rockin' electric guitar! It's sounding great so far.
The working CD title is: "Under A Big Bright Yellow Umbrella" which is
the name of the feature song; a bright cheery song about splashing in the rain.
We have a very special (but secret) artist working on the CD cover, & we won't
reveal that great surprise until we get closer to production time.
Finally, the CD should be completed (if all goes well) by mid-January. We
are so excited that we're about to burst!
