THE LEVIN BUNCH

Hannah's leg is on the mend. After being in cast for nearly 8 weeks
she'll have it off in a few days. Just in time for her 11th birthday! There's a
birthday gift she'll never forget.
Jonathan, now 2 yrs old, has become fascinated with dinosaurs. He loves
dino toys, books, puzzles, & videos. Anything and everything to do with
dinosaurs. It's really quite cute to seem him roaring & stomping about. In
fact,
even his tantrums are monstrous.
Matt & Nik have been busying themselves with caterpillars. Not only in
our yard, but friends & relatives yards as well. They are so bold as to ask
anyone we know if they have spotted a "woolly bear" or a "gypsy moth."

UMBRELLA CD

The new CD, UNDER A BIG BRIGHT YELLOW UMBRELLA, is enjoying some press
in various mags & papers. To read all the reviews, see the new press page on
the Yosi website: _http://www.yosimusic.com/press.html_
(http://www.yosimusic.com/press.html)
Here's what Publisher's Weekly had to say:
Singer-songwriter Yosi keeps it simple and keeps it silly – a formula
that engages young listeners at his many live performances and translates well
to this recording. A revved-up opening track called “Hole in the Ground”
kicks things off by encouraging kids to do “the worm” and “get down and
get
wiggling.” Soon after, a reggae beat wafts through “Selling Salt in the
Sahara,”
which features vocals by Deb Lyons that will have listeners swaying and
singing along. “The Stinky Blues,” a ditty about wet, smelly shoes (and
feet),
fittingly gives prominence to some blues hallmarks: gravely singing, wailing
harmonica, and rhythmic piano. Child singers (including several of Yosi’s
family members), sound effects (train, quacking ducks, etc.) and a variety of
music styles and instruments help maintain a fresh sound from the first song to
the last. - Publishers Weekly, July 12th, 2004
TIME OFF, a Princeton, NJ area magazine, had a full page story about
Yosi. Check it out:

The recent press in the New York Times, Publishers Weekly, & other
notable rags has caught the attention of a few distributors that want to sell
the
Yosi CD's via their catalogs & web sites. We'll keep you posted.
Oh, "Hole in the Ground" the first song off the CD has been on the XM
Kids top of the charts for 20 weeks! It's currently at # 9.
