THE LEVIN BUNCH



The best sign we have of spring is the cycle of life renewing itself. In
the Levin home we had some tiny caterpillars, barely a quarter inch long,
grow fat to about 4 inches, form into a chrysalis & emerge as beautiful
painted-lady butterflies. This process took about two weeks & the Levin Kids
(especially Matt & Nik, who are so very found of insects) marveled at the
amazing
process.
Matt & Nik are taking tennis lessons, & very much enjoying themselves.
They've been helping Nana with cleaning her beach & looking forward to summer
days swimming & crabbing at the Silver Bay.
Hannah has launched her new line of bracelets & earrings which she has
been making herself. These are ornate beaded pieces of jewelry that look like
the kind you'll find at open air markets & trade fairs. She calls her
company: "Little Chickadee Jewelry." She'll have these items available this
summer
at Yosi concerts.
Jonathan is speeding along on his tricycle, which he has only recently
mastered pedaling. He's also extremely fond of ducks. We have a pair that
frequent our yard. The kids eagerly feed them pieces of bread. However, Jon
just
can't seem to contain his exuberance. As soon as the ducks have finished
feeding he delightfully chases the poor pair around the yard until they take
flight.


YOSI ON THE RADIO

"Hole In The Ground" will be featured again on the _Family Groove_
(http://www.kfai.org/programs/famgrv.htm) kids Internet radio show that will be
available for listening starting May 9, 2005 and will be available another
week in the archive section.

NAME YOSI'S BAND CONTEST

Wait just a minute! Didn't you say that Yosi's band's name was "The
DooDads"?
Yup, We most certainly did. However, one of Yosi's fans pointed out that
the band's name is already taken! Mind you we tried to be careful about
choosing this name, but apparently our Internet search did not go far enough.
(Someone must have spelled google with two L's.)
Anyway our mistake is your chance to win fabulous prizes!!
Yes, you can win an all expense paid trip to...wait we can't afford that!
OK, how about the winner of the best band name gets autographed copies

blues & sadly end up happy)

MEET KIM: UMBRELLA ARTIST

Kim Adlerman is the artist who did the beautiful cover art for Yosi's
UNDER A BIG BRIGHT YELLOW UMBRELLA album. Her work is being exhibited this
month at _Metuchen Art Works_ (http://www.metuchenartworks.com/) , located at 15
Station Place, Metuchen, NJ. You are invited to attend the opening reception,
to be held Saturday, May 7th, at the gallery from 7:00 PM - 10:00 PM! Meet
Kim. Yosi will be there with his lovely wife Heather. You can see the
original 3-D art work from the CD, & other great works by Kim. No cover charge.
Just
Wine, munchies & good folks. There will also be a Sunday morning Coffee Talk
May 8th at 12:00 noon.
