THE LEVIN BUNCH



Is it summer yet? We know it's June, but it's a might chilly for this
time of year. I mean 55 degrees at mid-day is no fun when you want to go
swimming. It's even less fun when you realize that Alaska had a peak of 70 on
the
same day! Let's all cross our fingers & wish for warmer weather. C'mon sun!!
C'mon sun!!
Despite the less than great weather, the Levins have enjoyed Memorial
Day weekend with family. Hanging out by a heated pool, taking a boat ride on
the mighty Silver Bay, & eating & eating & eating. Did I mention we ate? Yes,
while the kids splashed & dove in the pool, all the (more sensible) adults
feasted on snacks, full meals, & mouth-watering confections. It was wonderful,
although there was one case of acute bellyache. It seems Yosi over did the
cheese & crackers, followed by a big dinner & (just to be polite) a few sweet
desserts. He was singing a rather woeful tune for about an hour after his
indulgence.
On the brighter side, the Levin kids are looking forward to the end of
school. Hannah will be graduating from sixth grade. It's hard to believe
she'll be in Junior High next year. Yikes! She's also been to her very first
rock
concert in May. She dragged Dad to see Good Charlotte perform at a local
concert hall. She had a blast & got some concert t-shirts to boot.


NAME YOSI'S BAND CONTEST

Thanks to all that contributed names for Yosi's band.
We had some great ones. Like...

Yosi & The Pop Rocks (too bad it's taken by a band in California)
Yosi & Friends (currently being used as Yosi's default band
name)
Yosi & the yoyo gang (silly, but folks will be looking for yoyo
performing musicians)

So, at this point we DO NOT HAVE A WINNER.
That means the CONTEST IS STILL ON!!!

Remember the winner of the best band name gets autographed copies of _all

SUMMERTIME CONCERT CALENDAR


There's a TON of Yosi concerts this summer! Chances are Yosi is
performing somewhere near you or somewhere you are vacationing. So, don't miss
