5:30AM: I'm up with my young man having a bleary-eyed, happy discussion.
Although, I'm doing all the talking.
Yes, we'd like to introduce...Jonathan Thomas Shabtai Levin!
Our fourth child. Born: Tue., June 4, 2002 @ 8:23PM
7 Lbs. 7 Ounces, 21 Inches.
Mama & baby are doing splendid. Jonathan is sweet, chubby, & our mellowest
baby yet. He's just content to sleep all day & night. Mama Levin is in post
partem euphoria...no nausea, no (all day) morning sickness, good health, and
a darling newborn to boot.
THE LEVIN KIDS are enjoying baby Jonathan. Hannah has immediately taken to
mothering, and helping (all on her own) with everything baby needs, except
dealing with stinky diapers. Matt & Nik are being exceptionally sweet,
holding & kissing baby. They have made up a song with Papa Levin, called:
"I'm Baby Jonathan", which they sing whenever baby gets fussy.

SUMMER'S HERE!!!
That means it's time to tour. Yes, Yosi may be coming to your town very soon.

There's a quick, & interesting story behind this caricature/coloring page.
Three weeks ago I was getting ready for my annual gig at the Red Bank Jazz &
Blues Festival. In comes my mother-in-law, Kathy. A very sweet lady. She
opens the centerfold of the Asbury Park Press "Jersey Alive" section, & says:
See anyone you know?" There, amongst a few whimsically drawn caricatures of
various famous festival musicians (Janiva Magness, David "Fathead" Newman, &
others) was a caricature of me! I guffawed! It was silly & great!
My webmaster & I have been talking for months about getting a caricature
made, but didn't know anyone who could do it. Well, it seems our task was
done for us. It took a few days to track down Tom Chesek, this talented
illustrator, & to our good fortune he was willing to have us use his creation
