Wonderful weather we're having! Don't you  just love it? Sunny, warm with a
refreshing cool breeze. Ah, this is  heaven!
Thanks again to all our friends for coming  out to see Jammin' Joe & Yosi
perform at  the _Morning Concerts for Kids_

Gaithersburg, MD. We had a blast!
Well, now that June's here that means the  summer concerts are just
beginning.
This week Yosi will be at Pottery  Barn Kids in Hackensack & NYC. Also Yosi
will be at  "A Day Out with Thomas"...yup, with  Thomas The Tank Engine! at
Strasburg RR in PA. See below for details.
In the meantime, The Levin Kids are gearing  up for the end of the school
year! Jonathan is turning 6 this month, &  will be joining his brothers in
Elementary School next year! Matt &  Nik are just itching to go swimming &
collect
moths this summer. They  formed a "band" with some neighboring kids. Matt's on
electric guitar  & Nik's on Sax. Apple doesn't fall far from that tree. Not
bad for 11  year olds. Hannah's finishing 9th grade with honors, & is
downloading  some really cool music lately. Have you parents heard "Pet Your Own
Bee" ?
...err, I mean "Be Your Own Pet." It's some really wild music! Google, or
YouTube it. Yosi & Heather are sprucing up the Butterfly  Garden...removed one
old shed & landscaping away. Oh, _Yosi & The Superdads_
(http://www.yosimusic.com/super.html)   are recording in the studio this month.
Mums the word for
now, but we'll  keep you posted on exactly what we're recording in the next few
months.  Hint: it's not what you're thinking... but it rhymes with  "splinter."

BACK TO  SCHOOL

Hi Friends!

     Summer vacation is over &  The Levins are BACK @ SCHOOL again! Where did
the time go? Jonathan  is in Kindergarten, Matt & Nik in 4th grade, & Hannah
started High  School! We can't believe it. All are pleased with their teachers
&  classmates. We are very pleased with Jonathan's Kindergarten teacher who
called the night before the first day of school to speak with Jonathan  &
welcome him to her class. What a simple & brilliant way to make  a young student
feel welcome! Jonathan loved it! I've got a good feeling  about her.

     Now that summer is over. Yosi is  taking a short break from the madcap
camp & festival tour to work on  songs with _Yosi and The Superdads_
(http://www.yosimusic.com/super.html) .  There will still be appearances (see
below), but
not at the same crazy  summer pace.

     Oh, for those of you  who are wondering how the gig went with children's
author/recording  artist _Danny  Adlerman_ (http://www.dannyandkim.com/)  & Mr
Ray, it was a ball! Danny &  I accompanied each other on stage with guitars,

at THE EXACT SAME TIME as Yosi was calling  Danny ...& visa versa. Eventually,
they got together & started  talking, sharing tables at conferences,
supporting each other's projects, &  sharing (shhh) trade secrets. Seven years &
SIX
albums later  they are performing this great concert together. You can hear
Yosi  & Danny collectively do some of their XM Kids Radio hits, such as: "Hole

  The Ground", "When I Grow Up", plus a few surprises.

Whew!
Hot & humid! That's summer for ya. It's been  great fun seeing all of your

The recent live video shoot is finally up on  _YosiMusic  _

Funny story behind this video: We  had selected 20 children (completely at
random) for the recording session.  The day had arrived and the studio & all
equipment was set up and  ready to go. However, as life usually throws you a
curve, the AIR  CONDITIONING was under REPAIR! It was a 90 degree plus day & the
studio had no AC! When the kids arrived it was already HOT. Once the  bright
overhead studio lights were turned on it got HOTTER. A few minutes  later we
started shooting the live concert and as the band & kids  started hopping around
it got EVEN HOTTER! Long of the short of the  story is we cut the show down
from a full hour to just over a  half-an-hour. After the shoot we enjoyed
cookies & cool juice in  a much cooler studio waiting room. The kids & parents
were
real  troopers. A couple of parents said "well, your first video shoot sure
was  memorable...and we had a great time!"

Hi kids! ...(big 'n small),

     WE, _Yosi and The Superdads_ (http://www.yosimusic.com/super.html) ,
just played _Longwood  Gardens_
(http://www.longwoodgardens.org/YosiandtheSuperDads.html)  on Friday, July 6th.
The place is GORGEOUS  ...& the sound was the
best outdoor sound we've ever had! Thanks to  all 700 PEOPLE who showed up for
the show. During  the _Umbrella_

were turned on behind us... & THE  KIDS WENT
WILD! Afterwards we enjoyed meeting our old & new friends  over some Haagen
Dazs ice cream. Yum!

shows. Make sure you are a member of a stated  library & pre-register EARLY if
you want to ensure your seat. Also,  don't miss the concert on the beach in

Would you like your child to be in an upcoming  LIVE _Yosi & The  Superdads_

We'll be selecting a few kids for an hour  long live recorded concert for TV
broadcast.

The video shoot will be on Tues, June 19 at  1PM in Toms River, NJ.

We will select only a few children at random.

Your child(ren) must be:

1) Accompanied by parent or legal guardian
2) Age: over 2 yrs, but under 7 yrs.
3) able to be with other children & parents for 1  hour.
(Familiarity with Yosi's music is a plus.)
