on tuesday June 11 iNNiS appeared live on LATV Live...a bi-lingual
video/music show in Los Angeles. in the first hour of the show we
were treated to Innis' new video for El Hechizo...and a live
performance from Sin Bandera. There were lots of giveaways like free
CD's, Innis posters and concert tickets.
In the second hour Innis performed 3 songs for us backed up by a LIVE
band ( no prerecorded music this time). He sang El Hechizo.., Besame
Mucho and his acoustic version of Dime Donde Dime Cuando. He was also
interviewed by the VJ, Melissa. Melissa was wearing an Innis t-shirt
designed by one of the fans in the audience. At the end of the show,
all the fans lined up to meet and greet with Innis. He signed
autographs and took photos with fans. Innis was his usual charming
self. I brought a friend who had never seen Innis before and he
totally won her over! I spoke to one of the VJ's after the show and
he commented that Innis just keeps getting better and better. It was
Innis's 3rd appearance on that show.
those of us in attendence were invited to attend another show that
Innis was appearing on the next day from noon-2 pm. The show is
called El Show Del Pueblo ( the one he guested on a couple weeks back
that we all missed). It too is a local program from Los Angeles but
it is all in Spanish (I did my best to try to follow along). Innis
performed the same three songs from the night before....which was
great! The fans were very interactive on this show. The show
encouraged all the fans to go up and kiss Innis while he was singing
and to also hang out by him while he was singing. He opened and
closed the show and made other appearances during the 2 hour show.
There was a contest where 2 fans sang Besame Mucho to Innis and Innis
had to pick his favorite. Some fans were interviewed about Innis and
some fans were even miked and introduced him. It was a great time.
Again, Innis spent time with fans after the show even though he had a
busy schedule.
I have watched both shows before and i have never seen so many
audience members for either show as when Innis was there. He has such
a big fan following here in L.A.
I hope i didnt leave anything out. I usually have photos to share but
my camera was being wierd both times. It wouldnt fire. I will try to
post the ones of me and Innis if they come out.
take care
