A message board dedicated to Zarzuela in English! Fantastic!!
Don't get me wrong, I speak Spanish fluently. I just didn't realize
there was this much interest in Spanish zarzuela. I am elated!!

Hey all. Glad to be here. I spent 5 years in Spain directing
zarzuela groups in Elche and Elda in the province of Alicante. We did
around 15 different zarzuelas in that time. I love it. It is by far
my favorite genre.

I've become acquainted with Ana María Sánchez among others. Very
sweet person. Any zarzuela performers out there?
