Re: [zarzuela] 4 reviews online

Don Basilio,

Unbelievable. La Jota is, undeniably, La sal de la tierra ("The salt of the
earth", as?proclaimed in El Trust de los Tenorios).
I remember seeing?this?excerpt?from La Dolores when Domingo brought the zarzuela
concert to Madison Square Garden in NYC the mid eighties (or thereabouts). Do
you know if the video clip?is from?a complete?production of La Dolores? If so,
where? Domingo looks young.
Mariano

I believe a simpler solution would be for Chris to approve the messages, which
are not so frequent, and the ones which are not appropiate for the group he can
delete before they are sent to the Group. Nobody would even know of their
existence. It works for me.

I would like to send this address from YouTube. It is a zarzuela video clip from
la Jota de La Dolores, with Placido Domingo. The dancing is so exciting that it
makes you feel like jumping out of your chair and yell 'Bravo'. It should be
mandatory viewing for anybody interested in producing a zarzuela anywhere. If
they approach the liveliness and excitement of this performance, they would have
a successful production.

Thanks,

Basilio Pissanos
