Hi all,
I had previously presented you with the first record of this French guitarist - Heavy Loud Funk Menuet - he's back now with a new album called "Black Blues Rime". If the previous was much focusing on fusion, this one is a return to the roots of his first love, the blues, from the South of the USA as much as from Africa. His partners include a well known ex bass player from The Syndicate: Etienne M'Bappé (the man with the gloves!) but also Pierre-Olivier Govin (ex member of the French ethno- fusion band Ultramarine like Etienne), Stéphane Belmondo - more known in the French jazz scene - on trumpet, Roger Biwandu on drums, Djeli Mossa Diawara on kora, Allen Hoist & Georges Seba (voice), Claude Terranova (piano).
