Having problems with message search?
Enlightment: This is NOT the Syndicate, this is the WDR Big Band
plus members of WR and ZS. But what is important: I heard this lineup
(except it was Victor Bailey on bass) twice last year @ Birdland: It
is Zawinul music in absolute top form.
(Yes, I'd like to hear him play with Amit, Sabine, Scott
Henderson, Richard Bona, Wayne, McLaughlin, Jaco and Hendrix. But then
this is now and the real 3rd stone from the sun.)

Hmmm. I'm a little disappointed. Amit could solo like a rock star in 7/4 like it was nothing at all. Can you enlighten me? Am I missing something?

Forgive me, but who will the band members be on this tour? Will Amit still be on guitar? Who will be the drummer? Will he have the same bass player as two years ago and the black female singer who also plays nose flute?
That was an astounding, astonishing lineup, pretty much the same crew that recorded the Faces and Places CD.
